WHAT IS ISOCYANURATE?
Rigid isocyanurate foam is a solid, random-cellular formed plastic with up to 1,000,000 closed cells per cubic inch. This type of foam is created by a controlled reaction between two ingredients (isocyanurate, and polyol) in the presence of selected catalysts and additives, The reaction of these ingredients makes the liquid or semi-liquid foam mixture expand rapidly up to 30 times its original volume and harden into what is called rigid isocyanurate foam. |
